In its continued commitment to fostering a culture of safety and employee engagement, JGC Technical Assistance Services Philippines, Inc. (JTAS) proudly hosted Safety Day 2025 on July 11, 2025, at Escobar’s Steakhouse in Las Piñas.

The event brought together employees to reflect on the importance of safety—not just as a set of rules, but as a mindset that guides everyday decisions and actions. It was an opportunity to recognize the collective responsibility of maintaining safe work environments, whether in the office, on-site, or working remotely.

It brought a fresh and dynamic approach to safety awareness, blending creativity, dialogue, and innovation. Employees expressed their understanding of safety through three unique competitions in the weeks leading up to the event. These includes poster making, animated safety clips, and senryu writing, all centered around workplace safety themes. The presentations highlighted how safety can be communicated in diverse and engaging ways, encouraging personal reflection and team-wide awareness.

The event also featured discussions on key topics such as hazard identification and remote work safety, emphasizing that safety extends beyond physical spaces and into digital and home-based work environments.

JTAS Safety Day 2025 was more than an event—it was a celebration of people, creativity, and shared values. It reinforced the message that safety is not just a policy, but a mindset that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and care.

At JTAS, safety is not just what we practice—it’s who we are.
