Alabang, June 19, 2025 — At exactly 9:00 AM, JTAS members in Alabang actively took part in the Second Quarter Nationwide Earthquake Drill (Q2 NSED 2025), reinforcing their commitment to safety and disaster preparedness.

The drill began with a one-minute siren, prompting participants to execute the internationally recognized “Drop! Cover! Hold On!” procedure. This vital routine teaches individuals to:

  • Drop to the ground to prevent being knocked over,
  • Cover themselves under sturdy furniture or near an interior wall away from windows,
  • Hold On until the simulated shaking stops.

JTAS members enthusiastically documented their participation. This initiative not only encouraged engagement but also showcased the community’s proactive stance on safety. The event was proudly supported by InLife and JLL, whose ongoing advocacy for disaster readiness continues to foster a secure and resilient environment for all.

JTAS Alabang’s involvement highlights the importance of collective action in emergency preparedness. Their participation serves as a model for other communities, demonstrating how simple drills can significantly enhance awareness and readiness.

Let’s continue building a culture of safety—one drill at a time.
